Tour to Jakarta and Bandung

In May 19, 2014 to May 22, 2014 Junior High School 4 had a tour to Jakarta and Bandung. I will tell you about the tour.

First of all, in Monday, all students went to school and studied until the second hour. Then, we went home. We went to school again at 2 p.m. We had some instructions from the headmaster. After that, we entered the bus. I got the second / B bus. Next, the buses went leaved Magelang. It was a long journey. I sat with Yudha. Then, we stopped in Taman Sari Rasa restaurant for dinner. After that, we continued our trip.

Next day, we arrived in West Bekasi Haji Dormitory at 4.00 o’clock, only for transit, for took a bath and having breakfast. We were having breakfast at 6 a.m. After that, we went to Jakarta, to Ancol Beach in 7.00 o’clock and arrived 1 hour 30 minutes later. We only spent 45 minutes there. I only ate my snack there. Then, we went back to the bus and went to Gelanggang Samudera Ancol. Before we arrived in Gelanggang Samudera Ancol, the tour guide gave us the tickets.

Then, we entered Gelanggang Samudera Ancol. First, we went to the seals attraction show. It was a fun show. After that we went to the dolphins attraction show. It also was a fun show but seals were funnier than dolphins. Next, we went to 4 dimensions cinema. Before we watched the film, the officer gave us the 4 dimensions glasses. Then we watched it. The film was Spongebob’s Adventure. The special effects were great but it was a boring film. We had lunch at 11.30.

After having lunch we visited Dunia Fantasi or also called Dufan. There, I tried some vehicle. First, I tried Ice Age Sid's Arctic Tours, the newest vehicle in Dufan. Then, I tried Pontang-Pontang, Ontang-Anting, Arung Jeram, and other vehicle. We were having fun in Dufan for  2 hours. In the evening, we went to ITC Cempaka Mas. There, I just accompanied my friend to bought sweater. I bought an ice cream and a burger. After that, we went back to West Bekasi Haji Dormitory.

When I saw my clock in my phone, it showed 19.30 and we arrived in West Bekasi Haji Dormitory. In West Bekasi Haji Dormitory, we took a bath and having dinner. After that, we went to the room. I slept in room 305, with my 9 friends. They were Surya, Daniel, Yusuf, Yudha, Diaz, Yogha, Andi, Lukito, and Andre. We tried to slept, but we couldn’t. Until midnight we couldn’t sleep. At 2 a.m. I, Surya, Daniel, and Yudha went outside and bought some foods and drinks. Finally, we slept in 3 a.m.

I woke up at 4 a.m. Then, I took a bath and prepared my stuff. At 6.00 o’clock we were having breakfast. One hour later we went to Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII). At 8.00 o’clock we arrived in TMII. In the parking lot, I and my friends rent bicycle. We rode bicycle around the parking lot. After riding bicycle, we came back to the bus and the bus went to Pusat Peragaan Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Teknologi (PP Iptek) or Science and Technology Display Center.

Before entered PP Iptek, the tour guide told us that we were not allowed to enter with bringing backpacks, foods, and drinks. There, I saw a lot of display, like science display, math display, illusion display, and other display. I like visited there but it seems a little bit boring. Then, we went by bus to Dunia Air Tawar or also called Seaworld Air Tawar. In Dunia Air Tawar we saw a lot of species of fish, mammals, crustacean, and other sea animals.

I ever visited Dunia Air Tawar, so I wasn’t shocked when I entered it. I also felt it when I entered Museum Serangga or Insects Museum. Although it showed a lot of insects, I still felt boring because I ever visited it. After that we went to Jambi extension for dinner. My handphone was low-bat. I didn’t bring my powerbank and my charger was broken, so I had to thrift the energy. Then, we went back to the bus and went to Bandung.

Journey to Bandung took some time, maybe 3 or 4 hours. We arrived in Bandung at 16.00 o’clock and we visited Cibaduyut. Cibaduyutis a cow’s skin handcraft center in Bandung. There, I didn’t buy anything, so now I still have Rp. 250.000,00. I just bought a mineral water there. After shopping, we went to a restaurant for dinner. After having dinner we went back to the bus and continued our trip to Magelang. It took a long time, 12 hours I thought. All were sleepy except the driver and all students and teacher were slept in the bus.

The schedule showed that we would arrive in Magelang in Thursday, May 22, 2014 at 4.00 a.m., but we arrived in Magelang at 6.30 when I saw my clock in my phone. We went to school. The bus stopped and we took our stuff from the bus. We were tired. My mother picked up me 10 minutes later. I arrived at home at 7.00 o’clock. I took a bath and slept. I woke up 4 hours later. Then I prepared the schedule for the next day.

I love this tour. I hope I can go to Jakarta and Bandung again next time.
